How To Install Mirror Covers / Caps / Turn Signals on Audi / Volkswagen Vehicles (Shown on 2014 A7)

Описание к видео How To Install Mirror Covers / Caps / Turn Signals on Audi / Volkswagen Vehicles (Shown on 2014 A7)

In this video I will show you how to remove and replace your Audi and Volkswagen mirror caps / covers and integrated turn signals. You can then install carbon fiber, brushed aluminum, chrome, or painted mirror caps / covers and replace your turn signal with a smoked lens turn signal or dynamic LED turn signals.

Although this video is demonstrated on an Audi A7, the procedure is very similar for most Audi and Volkswagen vehicles. Many of these cars have a similarly designed two piece mirror cover system and there are only small differences between the models so you should be able to use this guide even if you don't have an Audi A7.

You will only need 2 tools for this whole procedure and that is:

► T10 torx screw drivers
► Flat heat screw driver

Remember to take your time and be patient especially if this is your first time doing this. You will need to apply a reasonable amount of force to remove the glass mirror and the covers, but don't go overboard. If something doesn't feel right, stop and take a minute to re-evaluate the situation and see if you are missing something. You want to avoid breaking the plastic clips.

Another tip... do this in the summer when it is warm outside. Your plastic will be much more compliant and pliable and less likely to break. If you do this in the winter you will absolutely break things.
