Continuing our Mysuru food tour, we visited another childhood favorite restaurants in the heart of namma Mysuru. While the restaurant is famous for its food & sweets, we specifically went here this time to relish their unique Butter mysurupak.

Indira Bhavan chain of hotels has been one of the oldest & most famour restaurants in Mysore. Their outlet in Sayyaji road is always buzzing with customers who flock the place not just for its food but also for the sweets here. From Bengali sweets to pure ghee sweets, this place makes a huge variety of sweets. One very unique sweet is the famous Butter mysorepak, which is exclusively available at Indira cafe Paras only. While mysorepak is made using ghee/refined oil/dalda, this place uses fresh butter to make this sweet. The result is a richer taste with a softer texture.
