Tripura: Anganwadi workers and helpers staged protest demanding Gratuity pay

#Northeastlive | Hundreds of Anganwadi workers and helpers took to the streets of Agartala, demanding for immediate implementation of the Supreme Court order which entitles Anganwadi workers and helpers, a payment of gratuity.

The protestors under the banner of Anganwari Karmi Sangathan demanded that as per the Supreme Court order on 26 April 2022, Anganwadi workers and helpers should be recognised as regular employees.
