From the first hypnotic guitar notes, Alex E.T.’s “Calico II” casts a surreal spell, building with the pensive intensity of a ritual evocation. Reverb-soaked vocals and richly textured guitars weave into a heavy, jangly psych groove that echoes West Coast ’60s mysticism. Channeling Jefferson Airplane, 13th Floor Elevators, and Black Sabbath, the track spirals through a dark paisley underworld before circling back to its haunting origin - entranced, transformed, and reborn.
