Hot Work Gone Wrong

Описание к видео Hot Work Gone Wrong

The National Institute of Fire Protection and Safety has created this vlog to present a case study on a fatal explosion that occurred at a rural oil production field in Raleigh, Mississippi, on June 5, 2006. Three contractor workers lost their lives, and a fourth was seriously injured. The explosion was triggered when welding on a nearby tank ignited flammable vapors inside two tanks. The Chemical Safety Board (CSB) issued this case study to stress the importance of safe hot work procedures and raise awareness about the associated hazards.
