Modern Kathak is an experimental body language pioneered by Amita Batra with the goal of conveying that storytelling extends beyond race, gender, age, etc. The body language itself is inspired by Kathak, the Indian classical art of storytelling, and contemporary movement.

This class in particular was designed with the goal to help students understand how sufi principles are prevalent in a secular space & the idea of submerging in one's passion.
