Ingredients of Parshe Macher Jhal:
1. Bengal Parshey fish / Parshe Mach (300gm).
2. Chopped onion (2 medium sizes).
3. Sliced tomato (2 medium sizes).
4. Chopped coriander leaves (1 tbsp).
5. Black cumin seeds (¼ tsp).
6. 2 dry red chilli.
7. Slitted green chilli (4 no).
8. Cumin powder (½ tsp).
9. Coriander powder (½ tsp).
10. Turmeric powder (1tsp)
11. Salt (as per your taste).
12. Sugar (as per your taste).
13. Garam masala powder (¼ tsp).
14. Mustard oil.

Methods of How to Prepare Parshe Macher Jhaal:
1. First marinate the fishes with ¼ tsp turmeric powder and ¼ tsp of salt. Keep it for 5 min.
2. Heat the pan and add mustard oil in it.
3. Fry the fishes very well. Keep aside.
4. Keep 4 tbsp oil in pan. Add ¼ tsp of black cumin seeds, 2dry red chillis. Fry it for 10 to 15 sec.
5. Add chopped onion and fry till become golden brown.
6. Add sliced tomatoes and slitted green chillis. Fry for 1 min in medium flame.
7. Add ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp salt, 2 pinches of sugar, and ½ tsp turmeric powder. Mixed it well.
8. Add 1 tbsp water and cook for 2 min in medium flame.
9. Add 1 cup water. When boiling add the fried fishes.
10. Cover it and cook for 5 min in medium flame.
11. After 5 min turn over the fish and cover it again.
12. After 5 min taste it. Add more salt or sugar as per your taste.
13. Add 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves amd ¼ tsp garam masala powder. Mixed it well.
14. Put off the gas oven. Cover the lid for 5 min.
15. After 5 min serve hot Parshey macher jhal with hot steamed rice.
