"Abandoned" historic Ex-New Haven F-unit to be saved! - Mass Coastal Railroad

After years of storage and neglect the former New Haven FL9 2015, later CDOT 2027 is now going to a good home. After being in storage since 2009 in various places 2027 was "won" by the highest bidder "Boston Surface Railroad" and it eventually moved to Millbury, MA in 2020. Now the failure of a railroad (never was one!) no longer exists and the unit sat "abandoned" in red tape before Mass Coastal saved it. It will eventually be moved to MC and put into service on the Cape Cod Central Railroad numbered 2015 and in fresh Mass Coastal/CCC colors.

This video shows a little compilation of 2027 in storage in New Haven, CT, Worcester, MA, and Millbury, MA over the past 5 years. We also see MC 2011 and 2026 in action to show how 2027 will finally be taken care of after all these years.
