The June 2023 International break in Europe focuses on two major competitions. The finals of the UEFA Nations League coincide with the third and fourth round of qualifiers for the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship.

The 2023 UEFA Nations League Finals bring to a close the third edition of the UEFA Nations League. The Finals will see the four group winners of Nations League A face off in a tournament consisting of two semi-finals, a third place play-off, and the final between the 14th and 18th June.

From the four qualifiers, the Netherlands were selected as the Finals hosts in November 2022, and will utilise two of the country's leading stadiums to host the four matches. Rotterdam's De Kuip and Enschede's De Grolsch Veste will host a semi-final each, and will host the final and third place play-off respectively.

The 2024 UEFA European Football Championship will be the 17th edition of the quadrennial International tournament, hosted in Germany between the 14th June and the 14th July 2024.
24 teams will battle it out for the trophy, and with hosts Germany the only automatic qualifier, it is time to once again begin the qualification campaigns of 53 UEFA nations.

Between March 2023 and November 2023, the 53 potential qualifiers are split into 10 groups, playing a total of either eight or 10 matches depending on the size of their group. The top two teams in each group will automatically qualify for UEFA EURO 2024, the remaining three places decided by UEFA play-offs pre-determined by UEFA Nations League rankings.
Matchday 3 and 4 begin this month with teams playing either one or two qualifying fixtures. There is no better way to demonstrate the incredible diversity of International football stadiums across Europe than by reflecting on all of the venues set to host qualifying matches.

This video runs through both of the stadiums hosting games at the 2023 UEFA Nations League Finals, and all of the stadiums that will be hosting June 2023 qualifiers for UEFA EURO 2024, including the specific fixtures and dates they will take place on.
