By adjusting returns, clean cooking companies can achieve scale and operational viability faster, including by more reliably attracting more traditional forms of commercial capital. However, most companies have little visibility on what new outcome buyers need to deploy their capital, and thus the opportunity remains latent. Similarly, traditional promoters of clean cooking, including donors, generally tend not to know how best to engage with these outcome buyers.
