Founded in 2016 by British entrepreneur Tim Stokely, OnlyFans has grown from 60 000 creators and 7 million registered users in 2019 to currently boasting over 100 million registered users, and more than one million creators.

With a 42% increase in accounts in 2020 and total revenue of $1.2 billion, the platform, which allows creators to own and charge for their (often NSFW) content, is only increasing in popularity and profitability.
