Way back in October of 1979 our local TV station (KSTP CH. 5) went down and filmed all of us teenagers cruising Main Street in our cars/trucks/vans in the Twin Cities suburb of Hopkins, MN. Aaaah, those were the days, now this type of activity is considered illegal! What a shame. This is how we met members of the opposite sex! Friday and Saturday nights were the busiest, but my friends and I went out cruising almost every night during the summer months.
