How to Reconnect PS5 Controller back to PS5 Console (Easy Tutorial)

To reconnect your PS5 controller back to your PS5 console, follow these simple steps:

Method 1: Using a USB Cable
Turn On Your PS5 Console:
Make sure your PS5 is powered on.

Connect with USB Cable:
Use the included USB-C cable to connect the PS5 controller to one of the USB ports on your console. This automatically starts the pairing process if the controller isn't already paired.

Press the PS Button:
Once connected, press the PS button on the controller. This should wake up the controller and it should connect immediately. If it doesn't, you might need to wait a few seconds. The light bar on the controller should light up, indicating a connection.

Method 2: Via Bluetooth (If Controller Was Previously Paired)
Power On the Controller:
If your controller has some charge, press the PS button to turn it on. If it was previously paired with the PS5, it might connect automatically.
