Cheap E-collar vs Good E-collar, what you need to know!

In this video I cover the major differences of a cheap E-collar vs a good E-collar. It is important to know this information before purchasing an E-collar that you cannot properly train your dog with. If you get a cheap E-collar you run the risk of injuring your dog. These cheap E-collars bring a bad reputation to the tool. My dogs love the E-collar but it is very important you start of with the right E-collar to be successful with E-collar training.

Members of the IAECA are supporters in the use of E-Collars in K-9 Balanced Training. We believe that the E-collar is one of the tools available that can give a freedom to a dog’s life that no other can achieve and still maintain a safe and human connection through touch communication to your dog from distances. The E-collar can also provide a means of communication to deaf dogs. It helps correct and manage behaviors with a balance of training techniques that can ultimately keep dogs from being euthanized when other attempts have failed. Removal of this tool and the methods that the E-collar can provide will affect the dog’s freedom by inhibiting trainers and setting back the well balanced training years. In conjunction, this will affect businesses financially such as trainers, marketing and sales etc.
Currently the E-collar is under a threat of being banned globally. Petitions are being started all around the world to ban the use of E-collars and currently there are some taking place in Scotland and Canada with an addition some level of an E-Collar ban already in place in Denmark, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Slovenia, and the UK. The argument that these individuals and apposing groups are bringing to the table is that E-collars are inhuman shock collars that are used only for punishment and will without a doubt promote fear and aggression in dogs as well and cause physical harm. This could not be further from the truth, and the IAECA has videos and testimonies from many dog trainers as well as every day dog owners to prove so.
The IAECA is a Facebook group created by Duke Ferguson, Head Trainer and CEO of Unleashed Potential located in Canada. He has created this group to collect and have a centralized location of names from supporters. Once this group has a significant amount of backing he will have a web page created for a more formal approach of communication and education as well a collect the financial means to move forward in the process of hiring a lobbyist. This will then lead to the support needed for the efforts to stop the banning as well as bring back the rights of use where it already has been banned or restricted.
The IAECA is looking for any persons that support the use of E-collars for K-9 training and communication. You can help support by simply joining this Facebook group by going to its page and requesting to join. Simply, once a part of the group the IAECA will have your name. You will receive communications on issues related to the banning of E-collars and there locations by the communication of its members. You also will receive knowledge of the next steps to take place in this movement and information on how you can help support further as an individual as efforts my change with time based on the challenges and needs of the IAECA to achieve our goals.
