🇮🇹 Mossul si trova a nord. Per arrivarci servono 5 ore di taxi da Baghdad. Nello scorso decennio è stata teatro di guerre e terrorismo, tant'è che si possono ancora vedere i segni causati da quel periodo buio.
Ad oggi, però, la città è completamente rinata. C'è molta voglia di eliminare gli appellativi che la contraddistinguono tutt'ora.
La gentilezza e l'ospitalità dei suoi abitanti è disarmante. Penso di aver trovato uno dei posti più belli al mondo; uno di quei posti che ti riempiono il cuore.

Informazioni pratiche a riguardo, che vi possono servire:
- In Iraq si può viaggiare senza l'obbligatorietà di avere una guida;
- Il paese non è più in guerra e la minaccia del terrorismo è cessata anni fa;
- Per gli hotel è meglio presentarsi di persona, otterrete un prezzo più ragionevole;
- Ci si può spostare tranquillamente con mezzi pubblici, mini-van o taxi condivisi;
- Il costo per l'ingresso a qualsiasi attrazione è fissato a 25000 dinari iracheni;
- Se siete vegetariani, come il sottoscritto, potreste avere un pò più di difficoltà nel mangiare. In Iraq sono molto carnivori;

🇬🇧 Mosul is located to the north. It takes 5 hours by taxi from Baghdad to get there. In the last decade it has been the scene of wars and terrorism and you still can see the signs caused by the war.
To this day, however, the city has been completely reborn. There is a great desire to go beyond the names that it still has.
The kindness and hospitality of its inhabitants is disarming. I think I have found one of the most beautiful places in the world. One of those places that fill your heart.

Practical information, which may be useful to you:
- In Iraq you can travel without having a guide;
- The country is no longer at war and the threat of terrorism ended years ago;
- For hotels it is better to show up in person, you will get a more reasonable price;
- You can move easily by public transport, mini-van or shared taxi;
- The cost for entry to any attraction is set at 25000 Iraqi dinars;
- If you are a vegetarian, like myself, you may have a little more difficulty eating. In Iraq they are very carnivorous;
