The plate rack protagonist
of today's tutorial is very old
and I will show you how to bring it back to life
in a few simple steps!

After a good ABA wash
I repaired the external structure
and perfumed the inside with the wonderful
Liberty Magic Paint.

I then stripped the top,
which will remain wooden, and removed
the handles to wash them.

I then applied a first coat of
Nuit Parisienne Magic Paint
and a coat of Olivia.
I decided to make the stencil
“Sheffield” Magic Paint with Clear Sand
and Olivia, to add a bucolic touch.

I then did a light pickling,
bringing out all the details,
antiqued the handles with
the coloured wax Noyer Foncé
and finally protected with Jasmine Wax
and Restauratore the wood on the top.

Simple and effective!
