When I went to switch our drain field on the septic system the valve broke. I thought we would have to replace the entire valve body but it turns out they make a repair kit that worked perfectly.

You're supposed to alternate drain fields every year but I hadn't done it for a couple years when this broke. That was a couple years back so all the flow has been going into one drain field and now that one is clogged. It should work okay if we run it on the opposite field for a year, we'll find out. If not we'll have to replace both drain fields.
