Muar MP conducts checks on essential supply shortages

Muar member of parliament Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman took to Facebook yesterday to expose alarming food supply shortages in his constituency.

In a 34-minute live video on his Facebook page, he revealed that rice, cooking oil, and sugar were nowhere to be found in shops and supermarkets.

The Muda president questioned whether essential goods supply information is being concealed, raising doubts about the accuracy of reports released by authorities.

He also said that he would meet with suppliers, to report what had transpired and learn more about the supply issue.
