The world famous West Coast wild flowers in the Western Cape are back in bloom. Large parts of the West Coast National Park are swathed in a myriad of colours as the white rain daisies, vygies and other flower species cover parts of the Seeberg, Mooimaak and Postberg sections of the park.
The flower season reaches its peak during August and September, and with excellent rains in recent weeks, visitors are in for a colourful visual treat.
West Coast National Park Section ranger, William Brink, says the park has lots to offer nature lovers, local and international.
