For me a good catch can in a direct injection engine simply makes sense, and feel most of the arguments to NOT have one are trying to prove a negative. "Well I installed the can and never had a problem anyway..." YES EXACTLY! The can worked perfectly, did what it was supposed to do and never had a problem!

So for that, I couldn't wait to get the Mishimoto catch can installed with the quality of product, fit and finish to my F87 M2C!

This guide will work for ANY S55 motor BMW such as the M2C, M3 and M4.

This is something I highly recommend doing as soon as you can. If I had bought my car new, this literally would have been ordered the day I bought it.

Required parts and tools:
Mishimoto S55 catch can

7mm, 10mm, 12mm sockets and wrench
Torque wrench
pick tool
heat gun
T25, T40 and T45 torx sockets
2.5mm allen wrench
medium flat screw driver
CF strut bar torque - 28nm
