India’s Zoroastrians

Описание к видео India’s Zoroastrians

This program originally aired on Religion & Ethics Newsweekly on Oct. 28, 2004. Zoroastrianism began in ancient Persia, now Iran, and left its historical imprint on Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Estimates vary widely, but some claim that as few as 115,000 Zoroastrians remain—a few in Europe, North America and Iran; the vast majority in India, where they are called Parsis. Fred De Sam Lazaro reported on Zoroastrianism from Bombay.
