Pros:
Location: Close to an international airport, the beach, the river, and many other cool towns for day trips.
Schools: #1 rated public schools in Florida.
The southern hospitality and laid back coastal lifestyle.
Activities: concerts, golf, water sports, top golf, arts, history sites, festivals, broadway shows, sunset cruises, shopping etc...
No state income tax.

Cons
The heat! I won't lie the summer is brutal and you will either want to be in the water or air conditioning. But compared to other parts of Florida it's less humid and we get more seasonality.
Becoming more populated with the influx of people moving here.
Very spread out city geographically which makes getting places a little tougher.
