@planeta_i_kraków_60_plus zaprasza na Zamek w Korzkwi – zamek rycerski znajdujący się na Jurze Krakowsko-Częstochowskiej, wybudowany w systemie tzw. Orlich Gniazd, we wsi Korzkiew, w gminie Zielonki, około 15 kilometrów od Krakowa.
Zespół zamkowy w skład którego wchodzą: ruiny zamku, dom mieszkalny, budynek gospodarczy folwarczny oraz park, został wpisany do rejestru zabytków nieruchomych województwa małopolskiego.
Historia zamku sięga XIV w. W 1352 r. Jan z Syrokomli zakupił wzgórze Korzkiew i wybudował na nim prostokątną, kamienną, podpiwniczoną wieżę, pełniącą funkcję obronną i mieszkalną. Kolejnymi właścicielami byli: Szczepan Świętopełk z Irządz, kupiec Piotr Krupka, rodzina Zborowskich i Ługowskich. Pod koniec XV w., w XVI w. oraz 1720 r. (właścicielami byli wówczas Jordanowie), budowla została przebudowana. Zamek znajdował się następnie w rękach Wesslów i Wodzickich, a pod koniec XIX w. popadł w ruinę.
Od 1997 r. jego właścicielem jest architekt Jerzy Donimirski, który podjął się odnowienia i odbudowania zamku. Od tego czasu trwają prace budowlane na zamku, który pełni także rolę hotelu. Planowana jest także odbudowa mieszczącego się dawniej w pobliżu zamku dworu, stawów, a także stworzenie małego muzeum i skansenu.

@planeta_i_kraków_60_plus invites you to the Korzkiew Castle - a knight's castle located in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, built in the so-called Eagles' Nests,
in the village of Korzkiew, in the Zielonki commune, about 15 kilometers from Kraków.
The castle complex includes: castle ruins, a residential house, a farm building and a park, was entered into the register of immovable monuments of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship.
The history of the castle dates back to the 14th century. In 1352, Jan of Syrokomla purchased the Korzkiew hill and built a rectangular, stone,
a tower with a basement, serving both defensive and residential functions. The next owners were: Szczepan Świętopełk from Irządze, merchant Piotr Krupka, the Zborowski and Ługowski families. At the end of the 15th century, in the 16th century and in 1720 (the owners were then the Jordan family), the building was rebuilt. The castle was then in the hands of the Wessels and Wodzickis, and at the end of the 19th century it fell into ruin.
Since 1997, its owner has been the architect Jerzy Donimirski, who undertook the renovation and reconstruction of the castle.
Since then, construction works have been ongoing on the castle, which also serves as a hotel. There are also plans to rebuild the former building
near the castle, manor house, ponds, as well as the creation of a small museum and open-air museum.
