Crochet Charka Wall hanging

Materials:
8ply acrylic yarn.
4mm hook.
Scissors.

Stitches/Abbreviations:
All chains at the beginning of the row DO NOT count as a stitch.
Ch: Chain.
Chsp: Chain space.
YO: Yarn over.
Skp: Skip.
St: Stitch.
Slst: Slipstitch.
DNC: Does not count.
SC (Single Crochet): Insert, YO, pull up a lop, YO, pull through both loops on hook.
DC (Double Crochet): YO, Insert, YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through two, YO, pull through two.
PS (Puff Stitch): YO, insert, YO, pull up a loop, YO, insert, YO, pull up a loop, YO insert, YO, pull up a loop, YO pull through all loops on your hook and Ch1.
Picot: Ch 3, slst back into the 1st Ch.

Written Pattern

Rnd 1:
Slipknot, Ch4, slst back into 1st Ch. Creates a small circle.
Ch2 (DNC), place 12DC into the circle.
Slst to the 1st DC of the rnd.

Rnd 2:
Slst across into the space between the next 2DC.
Ch2 (DNC), place 1PS-Ch1 into the same sp, 1PS-Ch1 in next sp between the DC’s. Repeat all the way around.
Slst to the 1st PS of the rnd.

Rnd 3:
Ch1 (DNC), place 1SC into the same sp, Ch3, 1SC-Ch3 into the next PS. Repat all the way around.
Slst to the 1st SC of the rnd.

Rnd 4:
Slst across into the Ch3sp. Ch1 (DNC), place 1SC into the same sp, 3DC-Picot-3DC into the next Ch3sp. Repeat all the way around.
Slst to the 1st SC of the rnd.
Ch2, cut yarn and tie off.

*Repeat Chakra pattern X6.

Attaching Chakra’s
Grab your 7 Chakra’s and chosen coloured yarn.
Cut off a long piece (roughly 3-4 inches), insert hook into the Picot sp of one Chakra and into the sp on the opposite side of another Chakra, pull yarn through and tie into a double or triple knot. Cut loose ends.
Repeat X7.

Create Tie
Cut off a long piece of chose yarn (roughly 3-4 inches). Keep the yarn folded in half (creating a loop).
Insert your hook into top point of all the connected Chakra’s and pull yarn through slightly, pull the two pieces of yarn through the loop and pull them tight.

You’re done!
