Back to “quilt block basics” is the focus for tomorrow’s blocks. And yes, that’s plural!
These blocks are not only perfect for the beginner paper quilter but will use larger pieces making handling the pieces easier. These blocks will make beautiful backgrounds for the Baubles (or any focal piece or sentiment cluster).
I’m not providing card base instructions because I’m leaving that up to you and how you want to set your blocks.
Prep:
(1) 8” square DSP #1 (background)
(1) 8” square foundation. This is optional but I’m thinking it will add stability to the blocks. Use your ugly DSP or thinner cardstock, it won’t show.
(1) 4” square DSP #2
(1) 4” square DSP #3
(4) Baubles or focal pieces
