Kit's Crows 10-19-24 (special guests "Mel the Cat," "Hagrid & Remington the dogs" + Bonus Kitty!)

There's a lot of magpies and crows out today! I sure wish the crows would play around my place the way the magpies do. The crows and magpies also love to party in my backyard where they play on the playground equipment and look for food and stuff that kids dropped.
I found a crawdad chilling in the creek today (about 5" from tail to claw tips). I probably watched it for a good 10 mins, it was just wandering around. I saw a fish zip by me really fast, but I wasn't able to catch it on camera.
I saw Mel but apparently I was petting him a little too much and he told me "no more." Hagrid and Remington were also playing and enjoying the nice morning. On my way to McDonald's, I also saw a surprise black and white kitty that I've never seen before. Super cute, but it was a little too timid and I wasn't able to pet it.
