Sophie Charles is from Edinburgh and graduated in Weave & Textiles at The Glasgow School of Art in 2008, going straight into full-time employment during the height of the recession, working for a fashion design company in London. She spent 8 successful years there, before deciding to move to a freelance career, working for a global fashion trend forecasting site, and also creating and growing her own brand of Made in the UK weaves, cushions and prints: SophieCharlesDesign.com
