Another subpar recording, though this one is admittedly a lot more listenable than Norwich. Aside from the recording quality, the performance quality of this show is intensely good. “Lost” and “Lemmings” have amazing vocals. I don’t often comment on other members of the band as much as they’re usually extremely tight, and vocals are the most variable part of most bands night to night. Guy Evans is a seriously underrated drummer in the prog scene, listening to any of these live recordings reveals just how excellent he is. This show is also the first of four recordings we have that feature both “Man-Erg” and “Lemmings” in the set, but only this one and Travagliato 1972 have them back to back. “Theme One” has a really interesting extended improv outro, putting it at over 5 and a half minutes. A great show despite the dodgy sound quality.
