The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education announced the Class 10 results with an overall pass percentage of around 85 percent in the Kashmir Division, where Ansa Shafi from Chee Anantnag secured the first rank by scoring a perfect 500 out of 500 marks, credited her success to her parents and teachers, relied only on school education without private tuition, and stood out as girls formed the majority among the 19 top rank holders out of 94,845 students who appeared in the examination.
