While waiting for the official North American release of the newest mobile addition to the classic Ragnarok Online franchise, let's find out what we can expect from this game. We played in the Ragnarok Origin Japanese server, which was launched just two months ago, to show you what the game looks like and what it offers long-time Ragnarok Online fans like us, as well as new ones. This video will give you a glimpse of what the game is like to help you decide whether to skip it or look forward to it.

Gravity USA opened Ragnarok Origin's pre-registration page on August 10 with a surprising Tesla giveaway! While the promotional prize may be tempting, it's still wise to take a good look at what the game is and isn't before deciding to dive right into it. We attempted to translate most of the text and voice dialogues and user interface (UI) to English to show you the game's contents and mechanics before its official launch in the US and Canada!

On Game Contents: While we've checked the official Ragnarok Origin Korean client and saw that the Japanese client's contents (particularly in the Tutorial area) appear very similar with that of ROO KR, we cannot guarantee that the NA version of the game will have all the same features as that of ROO JP.

On Translation: We're neither Japanese native speakers/fluent in the language nor are we professional translators, so please bear in mind that there may be words or phrases that weren't translated accurately. If you find some, please let us know so we can add to the CC or a Pinned Comment.

On NPC Names: Translating names from JP to EN is really difficult. (If you're a long-time RO fan, you'll know that the original game also have many translation inconsistencies from KR to EN when it comes to names! What's the name of the king of Rune-Midgard again? Tristan or Tristam?)
