This video is miles away from what we usually do and is completely outside our usual comedic comfort zone. We are aware that this might also trigger the usual whatabouttery in some, however, from our perspective, there's always that one breaking point when you decide to stand up and say enough is enough. This is that point for us. For many this point was reached on 16th December 2012, for many it has reached now and we can only hope it doesn't have to come to this ever again!
A 31-year-old doctor was brutally raped and murdered at a government hospital in Kolkata. The case has now been transferred to the CBI for further investigation into the case that has shaken the whole nation to its core.
There have been many such cases that have been reported in the last 10 days and many many more in the past (Nirbhaya, Unnao, Hathras, Sandeshkhali, Uttarakhand, the list is unfortunately endless) however the system still remains unhinged. Every single time, empty promises have been made by ALL governments, funds have been allocated to make the country a better place for women and children, however there has been no change on the ground. So now the question is until when do we have to wait to see some real effort, some real change?
