A quick tutorial on how to render Fat (Beef Tallow) for soapmaking to get a clean product without the funky smell.
Tallow is high in stearic acid (40% and more) that produces a shaving foam-like stable lather that gives a luxurious feel to soap. It also increases longevity and hardness.
Replacement options with similar properties would be Palm Oil or Shea Butter.
