ভারি বর্ষণ ও উজানের ঢলে ফেনীতে তিনটি নদীর বাঁধ ভেঙে ৩০টি গ্রাম প্লাবিত হয়েছে। ডুবে গেছে শহরের নিম্নাঞ্চল। ঘরবাড়ি ছেড়ে আশ্রয়কেন্দ্রে ঠাঁই নিয়েছেন বাসিন্দারা। এদিকে, টানা বৃষ্টিতে নোয়াখালীর চার উপজেলায় সৃষ্টি হয়েছে জলাবদ্ধতা। বন্ধ ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের ক্লাস-পরীক্ষা।

Heavy rains and torrential rains have caused dams on three rivers in Feni to burst, flooding 30 villages. The low-lying areas of the city have been submerged.
