Day 2 focuses on the theme “AI Literacy for Our Youngest Learners” — exploring how educators can help children and students become confident, critical, and creative users of artificial intelligence.

Day 2 celebrates his historic connection with Nelson Mandela, whose 2000 visit to Southern as commencement speaker — and the subsequent naming of the College of Public Policy in his honor — symbolize the shared commitment to education, justice, and empowerment.
