There is no donation greater than blood donation, as the protection of human life is possible only through human efforts. With this noble mission, Sova Jeev Kalyan Trust, based in Rishra, Hooghly, has been serving humanity selflessly for years.
The founder of the organization, Sunny Kumar Singh, took a pledge to save lives through blood donation at the young age of 18. Due to his continuous dedication and outstanding contribution in the field of blood donation, he is popularly known as a “Blood Hero.” He has been honoured with the title of Blood Hero in several states across India.
On the proud occasion of completing 13 successful years, Sova Jeev Kalyan Trust is set to celebrate this milestone by organizing a National Blood Donation Festival and Swami Vivekananda National Gaurav Seva Samman. During the event, dedicated social workers and Blood Heroes from across the country will be honoured with certificates and mementos in recognition of their invaluable service to society.
The two-day programme will be held on 11th and 12th January 2026 at Rishra Sewak Sangh, Rishra, Hooghly (West Bengal). The initiative aims to promote awareness about blood donation and inspire more people to come forward for this life-saving cause.
