NLC, TUC Suspend Planned Protest Over Police Blockade At Rivers LGAs

Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress have suspended their planned protest over continuous police barricades at local government area secretariats in Rivers State.

Chairmen of the unions alleged that some groups have been sponsored to use the protest to cause a crisis and justify the demand for a state of emergency.
