NKJV Maclaren Thinline vs NKJV Quentel Part 1

My favorite Bible layout gets the Maclaren treatment! The NKJV Large Print Thinline is everything the Quentel wishes it could be. It has a beautiful two column 10pt (to me it feels more like an 11) font in the NKJV Comfort Print on 36gsm paper. The references are on the bottom, and it has blue accents.

For those of you that dislike red letters, Thomas Nelson has brought back something from the archives of yesteryear, the words of Christ in BLUE! The blue is so soothing. As many of you know this is the layout I preach from, and this one could very well end up in the rotation.

The leather reminds me of a nice top grain, similar to Crossway. I also love that it falls in their almost premium category. It is edgelined, but to save the buyer some cost, the liner is synthetic. This is a great compromise and where Thomas Nelson shines the brightest in my opinion. Also check out those gauffered edges!
