Harry Potter Inspired - Hog's Head Inn - Wizarding Village and Pub Ambience - Fireplace, Rain 1 Hour

"Yeh get a lot o' funny folk in the Hog's Head..."  Rubeus Hagrid says nonchalantly.  

The Hog's Head Inn is a slightly disreputable inn and pub in the all wizarding village of Hogsmeade. The Inn is owned and operated by Aberforth Dumbledore, Albus's younger brother. A worn-out wooden sign hangs over the door, advertising with a wild boar’s head.  It’s known for its cheapness, at least relative to the Three Broomsticks down the street, and according to Albus Dumbledore attracts an interesting clientele.

The bar in the Hog’s Head is small and extraordinarily dirty and strewn with sawdust, with the windows nearly opaque and the floor all but invisible beneath the dirt. The entire room smells strongly of “something that might have been goats.” Even the rags behind the bar seem filthy; at one point, as Aberforth Dumbledore continued to wipe a glass, Harry Potter noted that it seems to be getting dirtier...

The Hog's Head is known for being the kind of disreputable establishment that the shady type like to frequent. Due to the shadiness of the place, it is somewhat a sense of fashion for the customers to keep their faces hidden, and Aberforth had never had a large number of customers inside at once prior to the recruiting meeting of Dumbledore's Army.

Despite being such a run down and visually unappealing avenue, it has been the place of a fair share of remarkable events, including: the making of Harry Potter's prophecy, the revelation of how to get to the Philosopher's Stone, the first gathering of Dumbledore's Army, etc.

Harry, Ron and Hermione has sneaked into Hogsmead while Voldemort ruled the wizarding world, and was saved by Aberforth and his goat patronus. Although rough around the edges, Aberforth is a brave and kind old man. He sent the trio down a secret tunnel connecting the Hog's Head to the Room of Requirement at Hogwarts safely.

I have always viewed the Hog's Head Inn as an immensely intriguing and oddly comforting place. Sure it is a bit dusty and its patrons are a bit shady, but because of Aberforth Dumbledore, I know I will be safe under his care. So tired travelers, please come in. Have a glass of Firewhiskey by the bar, and tell us your story...
