Coach Javier Mendez had one of his fellow Coaches from AKA join us today and share her story. Carolyn Wester has worked with many top UFC and Olympic level wrestlers. Some people just have an eye for it as Coach Javier Mendez will tell you. At first Coach Javier thought Carolyn was just a friend of one of the fighters when he saw her at AKA. Then one day he saw her teaching them movements and was pleasantly surprised. The formula to success in MMA usually has to do with have a great grappling base, Carolyn is the type of person who sees the matrix of movement in grapplers. She holds workshops all over the country when she is not at AKA, and she and Coach Javier have been working with each other for quite some time.
