Every parent of a sick child is in search of a ray of hope. So for the parents of Heng Heng, a little boy from #Malaysia suffering from leukemia, finding someone like Dr. Huang Fang-liang, head of hematology and oncology at Taichung Veterans General Hospital, who doesn't believe in giving up until all the possible options have been exhausted, led them to uproot their lives during the pandemic to seek out treatment in #Taiwan.
In Taiwan we know that cancer and other serious illnesses don't go away in turbulent times, and we've persevered in our mission to help those in need around the world, bringing 300 people to Taiwan for treatment since January of last year!
