Greenfield Dock, Holywell Flintshire. Once one of the busiest docks on the River Dee

Описание к видео Greenfield Dock, Holywell Flintshire. Once one of the busiest docks on the River Dee

From humble beginnings as a natural harbour, Greenfield Dock developed from 1700s into one of the busiest docks on the River Dee, near Chester, even sadly playing a part in the Triangular Trade slave trade until the 1800s, pilgrimage, and tourism. It is still used today for fishing and cockling/collecting cockles as well as gorgeous views down the north Wales coast and over to Wirral
