How to Tell a Puppy's Temperament - Cane Corso Litter Puppies for Sale Fall 2019

We are fortunate enough to work with an animal behaviorist from Rocky Camp who helped us via Skype complete some puppy temperament testing for our litter. We used elevation and restraint along with our general observations of their behaviors to date to determine what homes are the best match for each of our pups. We did not have the best experience with our first Corso choosing based on looks and breeder advice so we want to be fully transparent with our future puppy owners on exactly what they are getting with any on of our puppies, the good, the bad, and the ugly. This also helps determine what areas we can focus training on while in our care and when they go home.

We highly recommend temperament testing your litters of you are a breeder or if you are interested in buying a pup you can definitely test the pups or ask the breeder to. The cost of hiring a behaviorist such as ours is beyond worth it. A giant protection breed is not the type of dog you want to purchase with a temperament that isn't ideal for your home, especially if you have kids.
