GIANT Rare Grouper! Catch Clean Cook! Copper Belly Gag Grouper- (Panama City Fishing)

Josh From Heritage Excursions out of Panama City, Florida invited Brook and I to do some Deep sea bottom fishing. We spent two days targeting gag grouper, red grouper, vermillion snapper and red snapper. We fished both live and dead bait, but some of our best catches came on lures called vertical jigs. I caught my Personal best gag Grouper while jigging offshore and it happened to be a rare fish known as a copper belly grouper which is the dominant gag grouper on the reef. Copper Belly grouper are a pretty rare catch. Josh says he only sees 1 copper belly for every 100 gag grouper he catches. We caught tons of fish on the Mustad vertical jigs and I divided this trip into multiple catch clean cook videos as we had so much action! We also took a trip to history class brewery in the St Andrews district of Panama City, Florida, as well as SunJammers which is a local outdoor lifestyle shop.
