Homemade Keratin Treatment For Straight Smooth Shiny Frizz free Hairs| Okra Hair Straightening Gel

Making a homemade keratin treatment using okra is a natural way to condition and strengthen your hair. Okra, or lady's finger, is rich in vitamins A, C, and K, and has mucilage content that provides excellent hydration and smoothness to the hair. Here’s a simple recipe and method to prepare and apply a homemade keratin treatment using okra:

Ingredients:

10-15 fresh okra pods

1 cup water

2 tablespoons coconut oil (optional for added moisture)

1 tablespoon Aloevera Gel (optional for shine)

Instructions:

Preparation of Okra Gel:

Wash the okra pods thoroughly and cut off both ends.

Slice the okra pods into small pieces.

Boiling Okra:

Place the sliced okra in a saucepan and add 1 cup of water.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes. The water will become slimy and thick.

Straining:

Once the okra is well-cooked and the water has turned into a gel-like consistency, remove it from heat.

Allow it to cool slightly, then blend the mixture in a blending jar. Use a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to extract as much gel as possible.

Optional Additions:

Add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil to the okra gel for added moisture and conditioning.

Add 1 tablespoon of Aloevera gel for shine. Mix well.

Usage!

Apply it on your clean hairs from roots to ends and let them straight for 1 hour after that rinse your hair hairs with simple water and you will surprise to see the result
