Background of this card.

Khonshu (Chons) is the Egyptian God of the Moon and the Night Sky. His name means traveler as this relates to the nightly travel of the Moon across the sky and the fact that he also likes to take pride in himself by being the protector of travelers in the night. He helps mark the passage of time and was instrumental in the creation of the human life and all living creatures. He is not able to enter the Earthly plane and thus picks a champion to work as his avatar and be guided by his will.

Khonshu maintains a close relationship with the Egyptian gods, and he is known for his continued interactions with humanity. While the other gods chose not to interact with humanity, he continues to do so. This has formed a hatred in him towards most of the other Egyptian gods as he feels they have abandoned the human race. Whenever he chooses an Avatar, he will gift them with the Moon Knight Suit, and Crescent Blades so that they can serve his fatal justice upon criminals.

Khonshu is the God of Time as well as Vengeance who wields a crescent moon staff, which he can use as a weapon in battle. The staff can be summoned back to his hands should he lose his grip on it. He is so offended by not having the first known Moon Knight offered membership into the Stone Age Avengers that throughout the succession of earthly avatars, in addition to having them enforce his will on Earth he will also make them antagonize the Avengers on his behalf to this day.

Khonshu has his own clear set of ideologies that he will follow under any circumstances he is devoted to protecting humankind, albeit in extreme and somewhat radical and unethical ways, he is somewhat a lonely protector of humanity who chooses to stand with the cause and fights for justice every night, he remembers every night that has ever happened and is the god who watched over humanity for so many years and when others have given up hope on humanity, he still has not.

Powers:

Khonshu has the powers of Superhuman Strength, Durability, Immortality, and a Regenerative Healing Factor. He can manipulate mystic energies for Interdimensional Teleportation, Hypnosis, to heal the injured, and to cause earthquakes. He is able to steal the powers of heroes and store them inside ankhs, manipulate objects made out of moon rocks, resurrect others, and grant superhuman powers to any mortal beings who he will then telepathy communicate with in order for them to do his bidding.

Khonshu is the God of the Moon, who brings forth a avatar to earth and when that avatars gets discarded that power will be given to the next avatars and both the avatar and Khonshu will grow stronger with the knowledge they gained with that life: This is represented in MARVEL SNAP, as he will bring forth a discarded hero to the earth and will make it grow stronger for each time he was discarded along the way.
