RVS AGRICULTURE COLLEGE - THANJAVUR

The RVS Agriculture College (self-financing) was started in the academic year 2013-14 and offers a four year B.Sc. (Ag.) professional degree. It is located 4 Kms from Trichy-Thanjavur National Highway (Usilampatti Taluk, via - Sengipatti). Thanjavur is known as the "Rice bowl of Tamil Nadu”, situated in the adjoin side of Cauvery Delta region, which serves as the best natural source of water to promote agriculture.

Students admitted to this program will follow the common syllabi and examination system of the Tamilnadu Agriculture University. The college has an area of 400 acres for the practical training of the degree students and to have crop cafeteria for the benefit of the students to see and know the different crop varieties.
