RB4 - "Knights of Cydonia" by Muse - Expert Guitar FC

This time last week, this video was simply just a punchline in the jokes of the Rock Band community... after a whopping FOURTEEN YEARS of waiting for more Muse than just "Hysteria" (which I love and is an excellent song choice, but it was very lonely in the RB library), it finally happened. And Harmonix totally knocked it out of the park on the song choices here, getting both Knights and Starlight! What an excellent week, and I'm so stoked for Harmonix for finally making hell freeze over or bribing Matt Bellamy, or whatever it took to get these songs. I'm absolutely gonna be greedy and hope this isn't the last we see of Muse in the game, as there's still so many great songs they can get, but this was a fantastic way to celebrate 3,000 songs in the RB4 catalog. We finally made it to the end of the tunnel, "MOAR MUSE?!?!?" fans.

The FC itself came along mostly easier than I expected, though I had some rough chokes past all the strumming from nerves... once I picked up the actual speeds of the sections, I was able to get pretty consistent to where it was mostly just down to not making silly mistakes in the back half of the song. It felt really good to finally FC this song after many failed attempts at the GH3 chart... thank you Harmonix for giving me hammerons in that outro, it makes it so much less painful to play.
