Sidra and I spent a few days fishing the lower Columbia River near Woodland, Washington in pursuit of fall King Salmon. The bite was rather tough given the number of fishing going over the dams but Sidra managed to find her first solo kayak King Salmon. King Salmon are formidable fighters and even though she had to deal with heavy weeds in her rudder and navigate around a wing dam she still brought the fish into the net.
