VISUAL REVIEW: Jungle Cruise

With Disney’s incredible Pirates franchise, it should come as no surprise that they would try a movie based on another ride. However, those are some huge shoes to fill. It proves to be a challenging project because of the dullness of the Jungle Cruise ride. The film is humorous, self-aware fun. Yet, it provides darkness and danger, all the ingredients for a live-action Disney film. No doubt, “Jungle Cruise” cannot hold a candle to the beloved Pirates franchise, but it does look like some light-hearted fun for the family.
