Pokemon ROM Hacks: A Overview for Beginners

I really like making these general information videos! This time we're covering a small internet niche... Pokemon ROM Hacks!

This site has a lot of ROMS available for download. If you get a .IPS file, that's the patch you need to apply to the original ROM (or just look somewhere else for a copy that already is patched).

I recommend Liquid Crystal, a GBA remake of Crystal that is fantastic. I thought it was complete, but it only seems to be up to the Orange Islands right now (all of Johto and Kanto are complete). For something totally complete, I recommend Pokemon Quartz.
